How much does it cost to rent a motorcycle?

$25.00 discount per day begins on second day of a multi-day rental.

A one-day rental is from 9:00am to 7:00pm. Insurance, if needed, is purchased separately for $15.00 per day (plus a one-time $3.00 fee) at mbamotorcycle.com. We will reserve but not bill your card for $1000 to serve as both a deposit and a deductible for any insurance coverage. Click here to see a calendar of available dates and make your reservation.

Prices assume return with full tank of gas. Market rate per-gallon fuel charge will be billed to your credit card for partially empty tank.

Plus what? How will you nickel-and-dime me? We won't. We'll even lend you a helmet and some rain gear. Plus, we'll take your picture on the bike(s) and e-mail it to whoever you want. We won't start nickel-and-diming people until we've been in business for a while.

What about mileage? Unlimited, within the state of Indiana.

What kind of motorcycles do you rent? Duh, Harleys! Road Kings. They're not brand new, but they're sharp looking and meticulously maintained.

Where do I pick up and drop off the bike? We bring it to you at your hotel, cabin, tent--anywhere in Brown County. Just let us know where and when, and we'll be there. There is a ten-dollar fee if you do not show up within half-an-hour of the appointed time. Call us at least one hour in advance when you know at what time you wish to drop off the bike. There is a ten-dollar per partial hour charge if you show up later than the appointed time, or if that time is past 7:00 pm.

What if I need to cancel my reservation? You can cancel your reservation with no hard feelings up to two weeks before your reserved date. Within two weeks, it's your choice of: 1. Pay full price and reserve any weekday (M-Th) at the time of the cancellation. 2. Pay full price and be put on a list to be informed of cancellations and unbooked last-minute dates, which you may book at no additional charge. 3. Pay 25% of the price of the scheduled rental for a full cancellation.

What if it rains? If it's raining at the pick-up location at the pick-up time, you choose: 1. Put on the complementary rain gear and go. 2. Pay weekday price, reserve any weekday available at the time of rain cancellation. 3. Pay full price and be put on a list to be informed of cancellations and unbooked last-minute dates, which you may book at no additional charge.

What if the motorcycle breaks down? We'll come get you. If we have an extra bike, you'll be given a replacement, plus a pro-rated hourly (per-bike rented) discount for the time between your call to us and the time the replacement bike arrives. If we do not have a replacement bike, it's your choice between: 1. Full refund for price of broken bike only. 2. Pro-rated refund of unused hours on all bikes rented. 3. Two free weekday rentals.

We want to be as fair as possible without making it easy for people to take advantage of us. We want to treat you as we would want to be treated, but if we want to stay in business, we can not be responsible for any expenses beyond a refund of your rental price.

How do I return the bike? When you decide when you want to return the bike(s) to the pick-up location, you give us a call at least one hour in advance. We'll meet you there, pick up and inspect the bike(s), and complete the transaction. There is a $10.00 fee for any hour or partial hour that the bike is returned past 7:00pm or past the agreed-upon time.

What are the laws governing motorcycles in the state of Indiana? Helmets are not required in the State of Indiana, but our insurance requires riders to wear them. Operators, but not passengers, are required, both by our insurance and the State of Indiana, to be licensed motorcycle operators. Check out Indiana's laws and safety information.
